unemployment rate nationally is still 12.5% and right now, president obama is calling out the gop for what he says is your party to extend long-term unemployment benefits. take a look at what he says. >> for decades, congress has voted to offer relief to job seekers, including when the unemployment rate is lower than it is today, but now, that economic lifeline is in jeopardy all because republicans in this congress, which is on track to be the most unproductive in history, have so far refused to extend it. >> senator, let me ask you a direct do you personally, do you support extending unemployment benefits or would you let 1.3 million americans lose those benefits before the end of the year? >> i do support unemployment benefits for the 26 weeks that they're paid for. if you extend it beyond that, you do a disservice to these workers. there was a study that came out a few months ago and it said if you have a worker that's been unemployed for four weeks and on unemployment insurance, every employer, nearly 100%, said they will always hire the person who's been out of work four weeks.

obama care fiasco is down right absurd. the administration says the health care.gov website is fixed so logon and apply if -- if you're one of the first 50,000 people on the site. if not, get in line. and the government is going to send you an e-mail telling you a better time to sign up. imagine doing holiday shopping on a site like amazon. you mow what you want. you can't buy it until other people complete their purchases. would you stick around and wait for amazon to send you an e-mail waiting on you to come bark and buy something? how about your fantasy football team. see how you're fairing on a sunday afternoon, right? no, come back at midnight and the site will send you the e-mail. it kind of reminds me of this, remember this? logging on, verifying user name and password, connecting, that's what this feels like. what's the big deal? a little patience never hurt anyone, right? wrong. obama care is different. it won't work if young americans don't sign up. technology gives young people the luxury of instant everything. they've got news, they've got texts, pictures, videos, s

that may not be the best way to look at it right now. when people talk about obama care they forget about all the positives. the fact that right now for me in college i'm not paying any higher premium. i'm allowed to stay on my parents' health insurance until i'm 26 because of obama care. when i end up finding my own plan which i do plan on doing once i turn 26, i will not be denied for any pre-existing conditions, i'm not going to be denied because i'm a woman, i won't pay any higher charges. i think those are very important things to focus on but back to your point about student loan debt, i don't necessarily see it as a trade-off that way because i know a lot of people will not be able to be covered because of their parents because they're able to stay with them until they're 26 but with student loan, that's something that's tackled in a separate way but putting the two together -- >> i don't know, charlie, it's just expenses. you all have expenses, i got expenses, and i'm just trying to figure out how this is going to work out. look, what do numbers show from this harvard poll,
